If you had a fire then chances are that you have already been contacted by various services like, boarding companies, clean up restoration contractors, lawyers and public adjusters. Keep in mind that the expense for some of these services, like lawyers and public adjusters, are not covered by your policy. Your insurance premium does include the cost for the company to provide you with the services of their professional adjuster who will adjust, negotiate and pay your claim at no cost to you.
We will advise your insurance company to assign their adjuster to assist you in determining the amount of the damage or loss, if coverage applies. In most circumstances, the adjuster will contact you within 24 hours. Depending on the number of claims submitted due to weather related conditions, you may expect the adjuster to contact you within 5 working days.

What is our Agency's Role Regarding Claims?
Our insurance agency acts as a broker finding you an insurance company to insure you with coverage tailored to fit your financial needs. We are not the insurance company and we do not adjust claims. We simply act as liaison, by transferring information about your claim to the insurance company. We do not have the authority to adjust, negotiate, pay or deny claims. Only the claim adjuster representing the insurance company has this authority. Once the adjuster contacts you then all your correspondence will be between you and the adjuster.
